About This Program
Our Private Sports Performance program is designed for individuals who want to develop athletic skills in a supportive, adaptive environment. Working one-on-one with a trained trainer, you will focus on sport-specific movements, coordination, agility, and overall athletic performance. Whether your goal is to participate in Special Olympics, recreational sports, or simply improve your physical capabilities, our trainers will create a program tailored to your aspirations.
Sport-Specific Training
Sports performance training at Champions goes beyond general fitness. Our trainers design sport-specific programming that develops the exact skills needed for the activities your athlete wants to pursue. This includes agility drills, speed work, hand-eye coordination exercises, sport-specific movement patterns, and the mental focus that competitive and recreational sports demand. We have worked with athletes preparing for Special Olympics events, community recreational leagues, and individuals who simply want to get better at the sports they love.
Movement Assessment
Every sports performance program starts with a movement assessment to identify strengths and areas for development. Your trainer evaluates coordination, reaction time, balance, power, and sport-specific skills to create a training program that targets the areas with the greatest opportunity for improvement. Goals are set collaboratively โ we want to know what success looks like to the athlete, not just what the textbook says.
The Ideal Training Environment
The private studio setting is ideal for sports performance training because it allows for full use of equipment and space without competing with other sessions. Trainers can set up drills, obstacle courses, and sport-specific training stations tailored to each session.
