About This Program
Our Adaptive Personal Fitness program provides one-on-one training with a certified trainer who creates a fully personalized program based on your current fitness level and functional goals. Rather than standardized routines, we modify traditional exercise to fit the unique needs and abilities of individuals with physical, cognitive, or developmental disabilities. Each session focuses on building strength, coordination, endurance, and confidence at your own pace.
Comprehensive Assessment
Every adaptive personal fitness program begins with a comprehensive assessment. Your trainer evaluates your current mobility, strength, coordination, and functional abilities to establish a baseline. From there, they design a progressive program that meets you exactly where you are — whether that means starting with basic movement patterns and balance work or building on existing fitness skills. Goals are set collaboratively with the participant and their family, and progress is tracked consistently so you can see measurable improvement over time.
Expert Training
Our trainers hold certifications in adaptive fitness training and have experience working with individuals across the spectrum of intellectual and developmental disabilities, including autism, Down syndrome, cerebral palsy, and traumatic brain injury. They are also trained in trauma-informed care and de-escalation techniques, ensuring every session is emotionally safe as well as physically effective.
A Space Designed for You
Sessions take place in our private studio in Temecula, where the environment is specifically designed for individuals who benefit from controlled sensory input. There are no crowds, no competing music from other classes, and no distractions — just you, your trainer, and a space designed to help you succeed. Equipment is adapted as needed, and exercises are modified in real time based on how you are feeling that day.
Flexible Scheduling
Adaptive Personal Fitness is available as drop-in sessions or monthly packages. Monthly packages provide the consistency that produces the best results — most clients see noticeable improvements in strength, coordination, and confidence within four to six weeks of regular training.
